Leave Policies
Create unlimited leave policies in **Leave → Policies**:
Submitting Leave Requests
Employees submit requests from the dashboard or **Leave → New Request**. They select the policy, date range, and add optional notes. Managers get an instant notification and can approve/deny from the notification or the leave calendar.
Leave Calendar
The team calendar (**Leave → Calendar**) shows a month view of all approved and pending leave. Filter by department to check team coverage before approving requests.
Attendance Tracking
Enable clock-in/clock-out in **Leave → Attendance**. Employees can clock in from the dashboard or PWA. The system records timestamps and calculates hours worked.
Shift Scheduling
For teams with rotating shifts:
AI Anomaly Detection
Kova's AI scans leave patterns to detect anomalies — like frequent Monday/Friday absences, leave clustering around holidays, or unusual patterns. Results appear in the leave dashboard with configurable sensitivity.
