What is Kova?

Kova is an AI-powered HR platform for businesses with 5–200 employees. It covers the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, leave management, performance reviews, OKRs, learning, payroll, and more.

Who is Kova for?

Kova is built for growing businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets but don't need (or can't afford) enterprise HR software. If you have 5–200 employees and want one platform instead of five disconnected tools, Kova is for you.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan supports up to 5 employees with core features including employee management, hiring, onboarding, leave tracking, and 100 AI credits/month. No credit card required.

How does the free trial work?

New accounts start with a 30-day Growth plan trial. You get access to all Growth features during the trial. After 30 days, you can upgrade to a paid plan or be automatically moved to the Free plan.

Can I import data from another HR tool?

Yes. You can import employees via CSV/XLSX. We're adding direct migrations from BambooHR, Gusto, and Rippling in a future release.

Is Kova available outside the US?

The platform works globally for employee management, hiring, leave, and performance. Payroll integration (via Gusto) is currently US-only. We're adding support for more countries in upcoming milestones.
