Neon Dynamics is a fully remote SaaS company building workflow-automation tools for mid-market logistics firms. The team of 28 spans four time zones across the US and Canada, with plans to expand into Latin America. As a bootstrapped company, every dollar and every hour of admin time counts.

The Challenge

Neon Dynamics had cobbled together five separate HR tools: a payroll provider, a standalone leave-tracking app, a shared Google Sheet for onboarding checklists, a lightweight ATS, and email threads for performance feedback. Nothing talked to anything else, and their Office Manager was spending 15+ hours per week just keeping data in sync across platforms. New hire onboarding was error-prone (one employee went three weeks without benefits enrollment due to a missed spreadsheet row), and the combined monthly cost of all five tools was $1,870.
